For more than 30 years, Mr. Rodney Rodgers has been involved with sales and service of church organs throughout Texas, New Mexico, Colorado and Oklahoma. As president of Church Organ Gallery, which opened its doors in May 2000 in Plano, he has overseen the expansion of a second location in Spring (near Houston) that serves the South Texas area. Church Organ Gallery is the exclusive local representative of both Rodgers organs and Ruffati Pipe Organ Builders. Both companies build products that are known throughout the world for artistic superiority and lasting value.
Rodgers Instruments LLC of Hillsboro, Oregon, is currently celebrating its 50th anniversary as a company as well as 20 years of ownership by Roland Corporation. As part of Roland – a world leader in electronic musical instruments sales – Rodgers is by far the strongest company financially in the organ world, being backed by a parent company with over $900 million in annual revenue. Because of this relationship with Roland, Rodgers has unmatched financial resources to invest in developing the most outstanding musical sound technologies, and it has the ability to assure long-term support to churches that undertake the major investment of purchasing a new organ. Church Organ Gallery is an established leader among Rodgers’ representatives in the United States. In addition to many Texas installations, Rodgers organs can be found in important Catholic cathedrals and churches throughout the world, as well as in New York’s Carnegie Hall, educational institutions, and the private residences of respected concert artists.
Fratelli Ruffati Pipe Organ Builders of Padua, Italy, selected Church Organ Gallery as its sole representative in Texas and Oklahoma due to the company’s long experience and success with pipe organ and pipe/digital combination organ installations. The Ruffati family has been building pipe organs since 1936. Fratelli Ruffati is renowned for its stunning instruments installed in such buildings as the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima in Portugal, Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (a Rodgers pipe/digital combination), and the famed Crystal Cathedral in Los Angeles.
The philosophy of Church Organ Gallery is focused on understanding the unique needs and desires of each individual church customer. Successful organ design includes developing a full understanding of the ideas and worship style of the congregation, a thorough knowledge of the space the organ will occupy, expertise in evaluating the acoustics of the building, and an appreciation for its unique architecture so that the organ will become a fully integrated part of the place where it is played. Mr. Rodgers has built an organization and staff that offers a full range of expertise in all areas of organ design, installation and service.
At Church Organ Gallery, we make full use of the extensive design resources available through the exclusive Rodgers Organ Architect system, which allows customers to work jointly with Church Organ Gallery to customize every detail of their instrument. Rodgers Organ Architect is the only design tool in the digital organ industry that provides total control over tonal planning, integration with winded pipes, location of console controls, and case appearance. The result of this careful and collaborative process is that congregations hear an instrument that is matched perfectly to its surroundings and pipework, inspiring a new level of praise and worship. This is the ultimate goal of all that we do.
Church Organ Gallery is dedicated to exceeding the expectations of each church and client through our attention to quality and detail in every aspect of an organ commission. In our view, each organ installation is the beginning of a lasting relationship built on a deep understanding of the church’s individual needs, tastes, and approach to worship.
